Migration of lnx7sg-u.securehostdns.com server on 2nd January, 2015, starting at 6:00 PM to 5th January, 2015 till 11:00 PM

This is to inform you that one of our shared servers- lnx7sg-u.securehostdns.com is being upgraded with better hardware in order to provide you with better performance and a more stable network.

Upgradation Description: During this time, we will be migrating the data and sites to a new and powerful server with better hardware.

Upgradation Date: Friday i.e.2nd January, 2015.

Upgradation Time: The migration will start on Friday, 2nd January 2015 at 6:00 PM IST and will be completed by Monday, 5th January 2015 till 11:00 PM IST.

Expectations from you: If you are using IP for FTP, Mail & Outlook, then please change it as follows:

216.245.206.162 to 69.162.72.179

Important: There will be no data loss in this period, but still we request you to take the backup at your end from your cPanel > Files > Backup Wizard.

Please don’t upload anything on server/website during the migration process.

If you are using name servers other than nsg1.znetlive.com, nsg2.znetlive.com, ns98.znetindia.com, ns99.znetindia.com for your websites, then please make the following changes in your DNS file:

ftp.domain.com A 69.162.72.180

mail.domain.com A 69.162.72.180

If you are using lnx7sg-u.securehostdns.com name servers (nsg1.znetlive.com, nsg2.znetlive.com, ns98.znetindia.com, ns99.znetindia.com), then you don’t need to change anything.

For Child Name Servers or Private Name servers, please modify IPs in your domain panel as we are using new IPs for name server on new server.

Expected Downtime: As such, there will be no downtime for your website and email. But in case of technical issues, we are expecting a downtime of 6 to 12 hours.

We will keep posting periodic updates in the announcements section and on znetlivestatus.com to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as it will slow down the migration process.

Expected Downtime: Complete network may not go down but you may experience some fluctuations in it during the activity period.

All systems will resume normal operation following the maintenance activity.
