Hardware Upgradation of javalynx.securehostdns.com on 11th September, 2014

This is to inform you that one of our shared servers javalynx.securehostdns.com is being upgraded with better hardware in order to provide you with better performance & a more stable network.

Migration Description: During this time, we will be migrating the data & sites to a new & powerful server with better hardware.

Migration Date: Thursday i.e. 11th September, 2014.

Migration Time: The migration will start on Thursday, 11th September, 2014 at 6:00 PM IST and will be completed by Friday, 12th September, 2014 by 1:00 AM IST.

Expectations from you: If you are using IP for FTP, Mail & Outlook then please change them as follows:

64.31.20.58 to 208.115.223.13

Important: There will be no data loss in this period, still we request you to please take the backup at your end from your cPanel > Files > Backup Wizard.

Please don`t upload anything on server/website during the migration process.

If you are using name servers other than javalinuxns3.securehostdns.com or javalinuxns4.securehostdns.com for your websites then please make the following changes in your DNS file:

domain.com A 208.115.223.13
www.domain.com A 208.115.223.13
ftp.domain.com A 208.115.223.13
mail.domain.com A 208.115.223.13

If you are using javalynx.securehostdns.com name servers (javalinuxns3.securehostdns.com or javalinuxns4.securehostdns.com), then you don’t need to change anything.

For Child Name Servers or Private Name servers: Please modify IPs in your domain panel as we are using new IPs for name server on new server.

Expected Downtime: As such, there will be no downtime for your website and email. But in case of technical issues, we are expecting a downtime of 6 to 12 hrs.

Communication Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migration. We will keep posting periodic updates in the ‘scheduled maintenance’ section to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as it will slow down the migration process.
