Scheduled Upgradation of MSSQL-MYSQL Server Hardware & IP Pool Change on 8th Mar, 2014
We are doing hardware upgradation of our database server MSSQL-MYSQL(208.4.192.70) to provide you with better performance and a more stable network.
Upgradation Description: During this process, we will be changing the server hardware as well as IP pool.
Upgradation Date: March 8th, 2014.
Upgradation Time: The changes will start on Saturday, March 8th, 2014, 11:00 PM IST and will be completed by Sunday, March 9th, 2014, 1:00 AM IST.
All IPs of the server will be changed and if you are using SQL hostname provided by us, then there’s no need to modify anything at your end.
SQL2005 :- sql5.znetindia.net
SQL2008 :- sql5.znetindia.net,1434
Mysql – mysql.znetindia.net
Mysql5 – mysql.znetindia.net:3307
NOTE :
1. You have to update above connetion string in the code in next 48 hours, so that after migration your website’s applications will not be down.
2. Do not create or upload any database in between the migration time. Also you have to update your
Database Connection strings if you are using IP address when migration starts.
3. We do not recommended usage of IP address in database connection instead of hostname provided by us.
Expected Downtime : We are expecting a downtime of 2 Hours or lesser.
