Software upgradation activity for shared server Student-u.securehostdns.com from 10th December, 2016 to 11th December, 2016.

This is to inform you that we are going to upgrade cPanel/WHM software with latest patches along with OS in our Shared Server “Student-u.securehostdns.com” to provide you with better performance.

Upgradation Date: Saturday, 10th December, 2016

Upgradation Time: The migration will start on, Saturday, 10th December, 2016 at 6:00 PM IST and will be completed by Sunday, 11th December, 2016 till 01:00 AM IST.

 Upgradation Description: During this activity, we will be migrating the data and sites to a new server having latest cPanel/WHM. IP address and Name servers remain same.

After upgradation, new server will have following software:

cPanel/WHM version: 11.60

Php version: 5.5, 5.6 and 7.0 (ie multi-php version)

MySQL version: 5.6

cPanel SSL (powered by Comodo)

Expectations from you: After upgradation activity, please check your website or application functionality and update us by raising a ticket, if you will face any issue.

 Important: There will be no data loss during this process. However, we request you to take the backup at your end from your cPanel > Files > Backup Wizard. Please don’t upload anything on server/website during the migration process.

 Expected Downtime: As such, there will be 15-30 minutes downtime for your website and email. But in case any technical issue occurs, then there may be a downtime of 6 to 12 hours.

Communication Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migration. We will keep posting periodic updates in the announcements section and on znetlivestatus.com to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as it will slow down the migration process.
