Migration of blnx3.securehostdns.com server on 31st January, 2015, starting at 6:00 PM to 7th February, 2015 till 11:00 PM

This is to inform you that one of our shared servers- blnx3.securehostdns.com is upgrading with the better hardware in order to provide you better performance and more stable network.

Migration Description: During this time, we will be migrating the data and sites to a new and powerful server with better hardware.

Migration Date: Saturday i.e. 31st January 2015.

Migration Time: The migration will start on Saturday i.e. 31st January 2015 at 6:00 PM IST and will be completed on Saturday i.e. 7th February 2015 by 11:00 PM IST.

Expectations from you: If you are using IP for FTP, Mail and Outlook, then please change it as follows:

63.143.49.242 to 64.31.41.179

Important: There will be no data loss in this period, still we request you to please take the backup at your end from your cPanel > Files > Backup Wizard.

Please don’t upload anything on server/website during the migration process.

-If you are using name servers other than blinuxns5.securehostdns.com, blinuxns6.securehostdns.com for your websites then please makes the following changes in your DNS file:

domain.com A  64.31.41.180
www.domain.com A 64.31.41.180
ftp.domain.com A 64.31.41.180
mail.domain.com A 64.31.41.180

-If you are using blnx3.securehostdns.com name servers (blinuxns5.securehostdns.com, blinuxns6.securehostdns.com), then you don’t need to change anything.

-For Child Name Servers or Private Name servers: Please modify IPs in your domain panel as we are using new IPs for name server on new server.

Expected Downtime:
As such, there will be no downtime for your website and email. But in case of technical issues, we are expecting downtime of 6-12 hrs.

Communication Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migration. We will keep posting periodic updates in the announcements section and on znetlivestatus.com to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as it will slow down the migration process.
