Migration of MSSQL-MYSQL2 database server from Thursday, December 15th, 2016 to Friday, December 16th, 2016.
This is to inform you that one of our servers- MSSQL-MYSQL2 is being upgraded with better hardware in order to provide you with better performance and a more stable network.
Upgradation Date: Thursday, 15th December, 2016
Upgradation Time: The migration will start on, Thursday, December 15th, 2016, at 10:00 PM IST and will be completed by Friday, December 16th, 2016, till 5:00 AM IST.
Upgradation Description: During this activity, we will be changing Server hardware as well as IP pool.
Expectations from you:
If you are using below connection string, then you do not need to update anything at your end.
Database connection String:
MSSQL2005 : sharedmssql.znetindia.net,1234
MSSQL2008 : sharedmssql.znetindia.net,1235
Important: Do not use your old IP addresses in database connection string. During and after the migration, use the above connection strings as per your database created in your hosting control panel.
Expected Downtime: 5 – 7 hours.
Communication Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migration. We will keep posting periodic updates in the announcements section and on znetlivestatus.com to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as it will slow down the migration process.

First Update:-
We have postponed the migration activity scheduled for this week, due to the severe cyclone at Chennai coast. We were facing internet speed issue during the beginning of the migration activity, as cyclone Vardah has crippled different services and has impacted network services too.
We will update you about our next migration schedule, shortly via second update.
Second Update:-
The migration activity is rescheduled.
