Migration of wp.cloudhostdns.net from Thursday, 13th October, 2016 to Saturday, 15th October 2016

This is to inform you that one of our shared servers- wp.cloudhostdns.net is being upgraded with better hardware in order to provide you with better performance and a more stable network.

Upgradation Date: Thursday 13th October, 2016.

Upgradation Time: The migration will start on, Thursday, 13th October, 2016 at 6:00 PM IST and will be completed by Saturday, 15th October 2016 till 11:00 PM IST.

Upgradation Description: During this activity, we will be migrating your data and sites to a new and powerful server with better hardware.

 

Expectations from you:

If you are using IP for Mail & Outlook, then please change it as: bizmail.yourdomain, (like if your domain is “example.com” then change it as “bizmail.example.com”)

If you are using name servers other than wpns1.cloudhostdns.net, wpns2.cloudhostdns.net for your websites, then please make the following changes in your DNS file:

domain.com A  103.35.164.208

www.domain.com A 103.35.164.208

ftp.domain.com A 103.35.164.208

If you are using wp.cloudhostdns.net name servers (wpns1.cloudhostdns.net, wpns2.cloudhostdns.net), then you don’t need to change anything.

For Child Name Servers or Private Name servers, please modify IPs in your domain panel as we are using new IPs for name server on new server.

Important: There will be no data loss during this process. However, we request you to take the backup at your end from your cPanel > Files > Backup Wizard. Please don’t upload anything on server/website during the migration process. Please don’t upload anything on server/website during the migration process.

 

Expected Downtime: As such, there will be no downtime for your website and email. But in case any technical issue occurs, then there may be a downtime of 6 to 12 hours.

 

Communication Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migration. We will keep posting periodic updates in the announcements section and on znetlivestatus.com to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as it will slow down the migration process.
