Rescheduling migration of javalynx.securehostdns.com Shared server from Saturday,18th February, 2017 to Sunday,19th February 2017.

This is to inform you that one of our servers- javalynx.securehostdns.com is being upgraded with better hardware in order to provide you with better performance and a more stable network.

Upgradation Date: Friday, January 13th, 2017

Upgradation Time: The migration will start on, Friday, January 13th, 2017, at 10:00 PM IST and will be completed by Saturday, January 14th, 2017, till 2:00 AM IST.

Upgradation Description: During this activity, we will be migrating the data and sites to a new and powerful server with better hardware.

Expectations from you:

If you are using IP for FTP, Mail & Outlook, then please change it as follows:

202.66.173.152  to  202.66.173.153

If you are using name servers other than javalinuxns3.securehostdns.com and javalinuxns4.securehostdns.com for your websites, then please make the following changes in your DNS file:

domain.com A  202.66.173.152

www.domain.com A 202.66.173.152

ftp.domain.com A 202.66.173.152

mail.domain.com A 202.66.173.152

If you are using javalynx.securehostdns.com name servers (javalinuxns3.securehostdns.com and javalinuxns4.securehostdns.com), then you don’t need to change anything.

For Child Name Servers or Private Name servers, please modify IPs in your domain panel as we are using new IPs for name server on new server.

Important: There will be no data loss during this process. However, we request you to take the backup at your end from your cPanel > Files > Backup Wizard. Please don’t upload anything on server/website during the migration process.

Expected Downtime: There will be maximum 4 hours downtime. But in case any technical issue occurs, then there may be a downtime of 6 to 12 hours.

Communication Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migration. We will keep posting periodic updates in the announcements section and on znetlivestatus.com to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as it will slow down the migration process.

We have postponed the migration activity schedule for next two weeks due to Internet connectivity issue at ISP level.
New migration schedule we will share you once ISP Internet speed issue will resolve.
