Scheduled Upgradation of Resellerplesk6 Server Hardware & IPs on 6th Feb, 2014
We are doing hardware upgradation of our Resellerplesk6 server to provide you with better performance and a more stable network.
Upgradation Description: During this process, we will be changing the server hardware as well as IP pool.
Upgradation Date: Feb 6th, 2014.
Time: The changes will start on Thursday, Feb 6th, 2014, 11:00 PM, IST and will be completed by Friday 7th, 2014, 2:30 AM, IST.
Expectations from you: If you are using our hosting name servers, then you should not do any changes from your side in DNS records.
Note : As name server IPs are being changed, clients who are using their own name servers (custom name servers) need to do below mentioned changes :
Old-
nsp12.securehostdns.com 50.23.221.76
nsp13.securehostdns.com 50.23.221.77
New-
nsp3.securehostdns.com x.x.x.x
nsp4.securehostdns.com x.x.x.x
Or if any customer has pointed his website through IP address on our server, then the client has to update A-records IP within a given time frame.
Old website IP – 50.23.221.72
New website IP – x.x.x.x
Mail server A records –
Old Mail server IP – 50.23.221.73
New Mail server IP – x.x.x.x
NOTE : If any client is using IP address in his database connection string, then he will need to use the below conection string in his code, otherwise database will not connect.
MSSQL2008:- Sqlplesk2.securehostdns.com
MYSQL5 :- resellerplesk6.securehostdns.com or localhost
NOTE : If you need to change the name servers’ IPs (in case of using custom name servers) as provided in the above details, then the changes will be done in between or before the time period of modifications so that they will be propagated in 1-2 hours and you will not face any downtime.
NOTE :– We will provide you new IP details in our next announcement.
