During this process all services related to this server will be unavailable.

But still some issue in Pleskidc6 server and we are currently working on it. It may some more time.

 

Update:2 –  Pleskidc6 server responding very slow due to disk issues.  We are moving server on new hard disk and it will take 3 hours almost due to high amount of data.

Upgradation of shared server on Thursday, September 20th, 2018.

This is to inform you that one of our shared servers- albatross.securehostdns.com is being upgraded with better hardware in order to provide you with better performance and a more stable network.

Upgradation Date: Thursday, 20th September, 2018.

Upgradation Time: The migration will start on Thursday, 20th September, 2018 at 8:00 PM IST and will complete till 11:30 PM IST.

 Upgradation Description: During this activity, we will be migrating the data and sites to a new and powerful server with better hardware.

Expectations from you:

If you are using IP for FTP, Mail & Outlook, then please change it to as follows:

202.66.174.21, after migration.

If you are using name servers other than ns3.cloudhostdns.net and ns4.cloudhostdns.net for your websites, then please make the following changes in your DNS file:

domain.com  A  202.66.174.21

www.domain.com  A 202.66.174.21

ftp.domain.com A 202.66.174.21

mail.domain.com A 202.66.174.21

If you are using albatross.securehostdns.com name servers (ns3.cloudhostdns.net, ns4.cloudhostdns.net), then you don’t need to change anything.

For Child Name Servers or Private Name servers, please modify IPs in your domain panel as we are using new IPs for name server on new server.

Note: There will be no data loss during this process, However, we request you to take the backup at your end from your cPanel > Files > Backup Wizard. Please don’t upload anything on server/website during the migration process.

Expected Downtime: As such, there will be no downtime for your website and email. But in case any technical issue occurs, then there may be a downtime of 6 to 12 hours.

Communication Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migration. We will keep posting periodic updates in the announcements section on znetlivestatus.com to keep you fully informed of the status of migration process.

cPanel and Windows critical patch updates for the month of August 2018

As part of their monthly update releases, Microsoft and cPanel have released Windows and cPanel critical patches for the month of August 2018.

This mail is with regards to the newly released security patches by Microsoft and cPanel for the flaws relating to all Windows 2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2 /2016 server versions.

Although, we have tested all the patches at our end but we humbly request you also, to review at your end.

We understand that security updates are often viewed as inconvenience but, in real they are the best defense against the common viruses, malware or any other security threats prevalent in the online environment.

So to minimize the risk of exposure or low performance, please perform these updates.

Please test each patch’s compatibility with your business-critical applications and software and provide us with a suitable window to apply the patches.

– Expected Downtime: 30-45 mins

– Effect of Maintenance: We shall be restarting the servers after the patch update, so there can be 30-45 mins (approx) downtime on the servers, during the maintenance window provided by you.

Due to some network communication issue between storage node and Hyper-V node.  Server got rebooted and for some time services was unavailable.

We are getting packet drop issue from ISP end at our India DC. Our DC team is coordinating with ISP to get it resolved.

Expected Down Time: Since this issue is unexpected, we assume that it would take some longer time to resolve this issue. However, we are trying to resolve this issue asap.

Affected Servers: Entire network is affected.
